Thyroid

On these histology slides, the thyroid follicles are visible. Acidophilic colloid within the follicles is present. On histology slide (2) the simple cuboidal epithelium that lines the follicle is visible. On histology slide (2), the parafollicular cells (C cells) are apparent.
