Adipose tissue - histology slide

This is a histology slide of white (unilocular) adipose tissue. Notice the hollowed out spaces, which is where the lipid was housed prior to the slide preparation. The nuclei are pushed to the side. Connective tissue septa are visible on this histology section as well.
