Bronchus

On all of these histology slides, note the psuedostratified ciliated columnar epithelium with goblet cells. The cilia and goblet cells are particularly evident in histology slide (1). Smooth muscle is visible in the lamina propria. On histology slide (2) and (3) hyaline cartilage is also visible. On histology slide (3) much of the surrounding lung tissue is visible.
